Every course is designed to be clear, approachable, and grounded in real experience. The lessons are short and focused, the language is straightforward, and the quizzes are meant to reinforce only the material that was covered. Our goal is simple: give operators and managers the tools to understand their responsibilities, build confidence in their work, and keep facilities safe and compliant.

  • How do I enroll?

    Click on the "All Courses" tab to see what’s available. Select the course you need and follow the prompts to enroll. Once enrolled, it will appear under My Courses.

  • Do these courses meet ADEC training requirements?

    Yes. Shield Training courses are designed to meet Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) training requirements for bulk fuel facilities. They can also be used to supplement internal training programs or satisfy annual review needs.

  • How long do I have access to the course?

    Once you've enrolled and paid, you'll have access to the course material for one year.

  • How do I access my certificate of completion?

    A PDF of the certificate of completion will be emailed to you automatically upon completing the course with a passing score.

  • Can more than one person use the same login?

    No. Each participant needs their own account so progress and certificates are recorded correctly.

  • Are there package options for multiple courses or groups?

    Yes. We offer bundled course access and group packages tailored to your facility’s needs. Contact us at [email protected] with your facility name, number of participants, and the courses you’re interested in, and we’ll put together the best option for you.
